Weather and temperature

In Argentina, seasons are opposite to Europe’s. Summer lasts until March with quite hot weather during all day. In fall, from April through June, the weather is nice with daily temperature ranging from 15 to 20 degrees. Winter starts in late June, the weather is colder and humid but temperature is under zero on rare occasions.

Weapons and ammunition

It is authorized to import weapons but not ammunition (except for carbine bullets).
A weapon import form will be handled to be completed along with a copy of your passport with a minimum six-month validity after the return date. The calibers authorized are 12 and 20. In the farm, we will provide you with excellent-quality cartridges at 10 € per 25-cartirdge box.

Apparel and equipment

Light or warm clothes will be necessary according to the season and, in all cases, a raincoat and a windbreaker for trips by boat early in the morning or late in the evening.
Boots and waders are essential to walk through swampy areas. It is advisable to carry camouflage clothes because, in general, there is no sufficient vegetation in islands to hide from ducks.
Hat and sunglasses, a case for the rifle. Sun protection cream and mosquito repellents are necessary mostly at the beginning of seasons. Take two hunting outfits. There is free laundry service every day.

Requirements

Passport with a minimum six-month validity after the return date. No specific vaccine is required.

Currency

The legal tender is the Argentine peso.
In Argentina, all credit cards are accepted. However, payments in the farm are required to be made in Euros and in cash.
